Ambedkar award to writer Somakurup

Writer Kaithakkal Somakurup has been selected for this year's Dr B R Ambedkar National Fellowship in recognition of his contribution to literature.

The award, instituted by Dr B R Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration Committee, would be presented to him by Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu at a function here on Ambedkar Jayanti day on April 14, a press release said.
