Andhra Pradesh Governor E S L Narasimhan reversed the transfer of two erstwhile special secretaries of former AP Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy in a brief bureaucratic reshuffle tonight.

K S Jawahar Reddy, a 1990 batch IAS officer who served as Special Secretary to the former CM, was posted as Secretary, Irrigation and Command Area Development, a day before Kiran resigned from his post.

Today, Jawahar was made Secretary of the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department.

Similarly, N Sridhar (1997), who too used to be Kiran's Special Secretary, shifted from the Andhra Pradesh Beverages Corporation to the School Education Department as its Secretary.

Orders reversing last minute postings by the former AP Chief Minister have come amidst reports that the Governor, who took charge of the Andhra Pradesh administration under President's rule, has started "reviewing" controversial decisions by Kiran during the last days of his stint.

V Nagi Reddy (1984 batch) has been made the new Principal Secretary of Irrigation and Command Area Development Department, according to an order issued by Chief Secretary Prasanna Kumar Mohanty.
