Apollo Hospitals standalone Q2 net up 5% at Rs 91 cr

Standalone total income up 18% at Rs 1,152.85 crore

Healthcare major Apollo Hospitals Enterprise today reported 5.17 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 91.50 crore for the quarter ended September.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 87 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Apollo Hospitals Enterprise said in a filing to the BSE.

Standalone total income of the company also rose to Rs 1,152.85 crore for the quarter under consideration as against Rs 975.07 crore for the same period year ago, it added.

"During the quarter, the company alloted 2,000 secured, redeemable non-convertible debentures of face value of Rs 10 lakh each aggregating to Rs 200 crore on private placement basis...," Apollo Hospitals said.
 

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise shares were trading 0.51 per cent up at Rs 1,150.60 per scrip at 1500 hours on the BSE.
