Archbishop Pennachhio praises peace in Mizoram

Apostolic Nuncio and Vatican's Ambassador to India and Nepal Archbishop Salvatore Pennacchio today called upon Mizoram Governor Lt General (retd) Nirbhay Sharma.

He applauded the state government's tireless peace making efforts and the peace and tranquility in Mizoram, officials said.

He also complimented the clean environment in the state.

Pennacchio was on a three-day visit to Aizawl and left Mizoram today.
