Archbishop Salvatore Pennachio, the 'Apostolic Nuncio' of India and Vatican Ambassador to India and Nepal, will be arriving here on Saturday for a three-day visit to the Christian-dominated Mizoram, Bishop of Aizawl Stephen Rotluanga today said.
Nuncio would hold 'High Mass' at the Christ King Cathedral in southernmost Aizawl Kulikawn locality and would also lead the Eucharistic Procession through the Aizawl city on Sunday, Rotluanga told the reporters.
He would hold an important meeting with the Priests and other church leaders on Sunday night and would call on Governor Lt General Nirbhay Sharma and Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla on Monday before leaving the northeastern state.

The Archbishop would also visit the Barak Valley region of the Aizawl Diocese from November 5-6 where he would hold a mass and lay the foundation of Apostolic School in Shrikona in Cachar district of Assam.
Apostolic Nuncio, also known as a papal Nuncio, is the title for an ecclesiastical diplomat, being an envoy or permanent diplomatic representative of the Holy See to a state or international organisation.
