Arms making materials seized

A large number of materials for making 80 semi-automatic pistols were recovered from four passengers of a bus near Herudiyara in Munger district, police said today.

Acting on an information that some men were carrying the materials from Kolkata, a police team intercepted the vehicle and recovered them and arrested the four persons last night, Superintendent of Police Gaurav Mangla said.

The arms making materials were bought from a place near Kolkata and being taken to Munger for assembling, he said.

All the four persons were remanded to jail custody.
