Textile firm Arvind has entered into a partnership with New York-based Aeropostale to sell its range of apparels in India.
Its subsidiary, Arvind Lifestyle Brand is expected to open 30 standalone stores and 25 shop-in-shop in next three years, the company said in a statement.
Arvind would also sell Aeropostale products through e-commerce channel in the country, it added.

Commenting on the development, Arvind Lifestyle Brand MD and CEO J Suresh said: "We are extremely pleased to bring Aeropostale to India. Aeropostale will be the first of its kind youth focused retail format in India. With 40 per cent of India's population below the age of 20, we expect Aeropostale to be hugely popular and successful."
Aeropostale Inc CEO Julian R Geiger said, "We are thrilled to bring the Aeropostale brand in India as we continue to expand our international presence."
Aeropostale which primarily targets 14 to 17 age group, has a global retail network presence at over 1,000 locations in USA, Canada, Middle East, Asia, Europe, Mexico and South America through licensing partnership.
