: Chief Minister Oommen Chandhy will inaugurate the 22nd annual day celebrations and annual lecture series of the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation here on March 6.
Well known economist Ashok K Lahiri, the Chairman of High Level Committee to Interact with Trade and Industry on Tax Laws, Govternment of India, will deliever the first lecture in the series, a release said here today.
Lahiri, also former Chief Economic Adviser for Department of Economic Affairs, union ministry of finance and former director of Asian Development Bank (ADB), would talk on tax reforms and infrastructure investments to boost economic growth.

Kerala State Planning Board Vice Chairman K M Chandrasekhar, state Chief Secretary Jiji Thomson, Industries and Information Technology Principal Secretary (Kerala) P H Kurian and KINFRA Managing Director G C Gopala Pillai will also speak on the occassion.
KINFRA, a statutory body of the Government of Kerala, aimed at providing infrastructure for setting up industries in Kerala, have developed a number of theme-based industrial parks in various parts of the state.
