Assam House inaugurated in Shillong

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today inaugurated the refurbished Assam House in Shillong.

The three-storeyed building sprawling in an area of 12 bighas has 30 rooms, including six VIP suites and two VVIP suites, an official release said here.

The state of the art Assam House has facilities like conference hall, office space, lobbies, foyers, dining hall and a dormitory and the total project cost involved in the construction is Rs 10.36 crore.
