Jhansi was recorded as the hottest place in Uttar Pradesh with the maximum temperature touching 38.6 degrees Celsius.
On Monday, the day temperature was above normal in Agra, Moradabad and Meerut, according to the Met department here.
The weather is most likely to remain dry over east Uttar Pradesh on April 5 and rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places over east UP on April 6.
In its forecast, the MeT department said that rain and thundershowers are also likely to occur at isolated places over west UP on April 5 and April 6.
