Aurobindo remembered on death anniversary

Scores of people paid homage at the memorial of spiritual leader Aurobindo on the occasion of his 67thdeath anniversary in the Aurobindo Ashram here today.

Devotees sat in meditation before the memorials (samadhis) of Aurobindo and his spiritual coordinator the Mother (Mira Alfassa) on the precincts of the Ashram.

Aurobindo breathed his last on December 5, 1950 while the Mother passed away on November 17, 1973.
