Autorickshaw drivers observe day-long strike in Ghaziabad

Thousands of autorickshaw drivers today observed a day-long strike in the city over issues pertaining to, among other things, a one-time tax.

Commuters had a difficult time getting to their destinations and had to rely on buses and trains for travelling in the city.

Traffic Inspector Anil Kumar said the auto drivers have no issues with the Transport Department and they were on strike due to their tax-related demands.
