Rocker's Avenged Sevenfold were forced to cancel a gig in Italy to allow singer M Shadows to battle laryngitis.
The concert at Mediolanum Forum in Milan was axed hours before show time in a bid to save the frontman's voice.
He performed in Stuttgart, Germany on Monday, where it became clear he was struggling with voice issues, reported Contactmusic.
Shadows underwent surgery on his vocal cords prior to the recording of Avenged Sevenfold's 2005 album City Of Evil, and turned to a vocal coach, who had previously worked with Axl Rose and Chris Cornell, to get back onstage.
