Babbar Khalsa militant sent to 10-day judicial custody

A local court today remanded alleged Babbar Khalsa militant Ratandeep in 10-day judicial custody.

The militant was produced in the court of Civil Judge Dushayant Choudhary by the police after completion of his three day police remand.

SHO Safidon police station Bhartendu Kumar claimed that Ratandeep has confessed to smuggling RDX in India for terror activities from Pakistan.

Ratandeep was sent to Nabah jail in Punjab as the militant's lawyer Satish Kumar Dalal apprehended threat to his life in Harayana jails.

He will be produced before the court on February 19.
