A three-month-old baby died in a flood relief camp in Nadia district today, SDO (Kalyani) Swapan Kumar Kundu said.
The baby, identified as Arshi Mahato, had been well till last night and was not moving early on this morning, his father Jayprakash Mahato said.
When taken to JNM Hospital in Kalyani, he was declared brought dead.
Kundu said the body has been sent for autopsy to know the reason of the death.
The family is in the camp at Natunpally Rajkumar Primary School since August two following flood in their village Charjajira in Chakdaha block in the district.
