Bajaj Finance Ltd today reported a 33% rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 258.38 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2014.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 194.14 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2013-14.
"Total income has increased from Rs 1,081.5 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013, to Rs 1,485.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014," it said in a filing to the BSE.
Company's income from operations rose to Rs 1,416.43 crore, from Rs 1,027.02 crore a year ago.
Bajaj Finance, which is promoted by Bajaj Finserv Ltd, is primarily in the business of financing.
Shares of the company were trading 7.18% higher at Rs 3,731.05 per piece on the BSE.
