Belgian Ambassador Jan Luykx today met Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki here and discussed various issues includng ways of strengthening partnership in agri-related ventures.
Solanki, who is also Governor for Punjab and Administrator of the Chandigarh UT, informed the Ambassador that the two states - Haryana and Punjab - are known for their fertile land, availability of water, and hard-working farmers, according to an official release here.
The governor suggested for strengthening partnership in agri-related ventures, especially food processing, which has major scope of collaboration, it said.
Jan Luykx was accompanied by Antoine Delcourt, Counsellor, Economics Affairs and Alexis Bossuyt, Trade Commissioner, Flanders Trade and Investment, the release said.
