Freight rates for nine tonne pay load section for Goa and Bengaluru improved by Rs 1,000 in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks amid busy cargo movements.
Transporters said increased cargo movements and tight position of trucks mainly pushed up Goa, Bengaluru freights.
Delhi to Bengaluru rates moved up by Rs 1,000 to Rs 59,000, Goa rates also rose by Rs 1,000 at Rs 50,000.
Other centres freight rates maintained overnight levels on some support.
