Bhima Govindan gets BSICC's Lifetime Achievement Award

Kerala-based Bhima group Chairman B Govindan has received the British South India Council of Commerce's 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award from veteran British politician and Industrialist Lord Swaraj Paul at a function held in the UK.

Govindan was chosen for the award in recognition for his contribution to the Indian gems and jewellery industry, a release said today.

The award, which recognises the achievements of prominent business persons and organisations from south India and UK's south India community, was received by Govindan in UK Parliament house, during its business meet.

BSICC promotes trade and investment opportunities between the UK and South India.
