Bhopal experiences season's hottest day at 42 deg cel

Yesterday's temperature was one degree more than what the state capital witnessed on April 10.
Temperatures have also risen in other parts of Madhya Pradesh due to dry hot winds blowing in from neighbouring Rajasthan and reducing air moisture, they said.
The highest temperature in the state was recorded yesterday in Khajuraho at 45 degrees Celsius.
In Gwalior, the maximum temperature was recorded at 42.5 degrees celsius, Jabalpur (42.3 degrees celsius) and in Indore it was 40.2 degrees celsius.
As per the Meteorological Department office forecast, the temperature is expected to increase further in the state in the next few days.
