BJP claims anti-Congress wave in Meghalaya

The today claimed that an anti-wave is sweeping where Assembly is due early next year.

People in the state are set to reject the in the polls, national spokesperson Nalin Kohli said here.

"I see only one wave in and that is the will not return to power," Kohli told reporters.

The tenure of the present Assembly ends on March 6.

The Congress is losing ground as its MLAs have decided either to leave the party or not to contest the election, Kohli claimed.

The senior leader's remark comes in the wake of reports that several Congress legislators were either not contesting on party tickets or not keen on contesting at all.
