BJP today decided to serve showcause notices on six party workers for violating the party discipline.
The decision was taken in the light of recent protests at the party office here following the announcement of the BJP candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections.
State BJP Vice-President Onkar Singh Lakhawat said that the actions of those party workers who are protesting against the candidatures of some of the BJP poll nominees was reviewed by party leaders following which the decision to serve the showcause notice was taken.
Groups of irate BJP workers have been holding protests in support of several such party leaders who were denied election tickets for the Rajasthan Assembly polls.
