Blast near US embassy in central Kabul: official
An explosion occurred near the heavily-fortified US embassy in the centre of the Afghan capital Kabul today, an official said.
"An explosion has happened near Massoud Square in Kabul. We have no more details yet," Najib Danish, a spokesman for Afghanistan's interior ministry, told AFP.
