Block Education Officer arrested for trying to molest teacher

A block education officer (BEO) has been arrested for allegedly trying to molest a primary school teacher, police said here today.

BEO Manoj Srivastav was arrested yesterday after a teacher at a government primary school in Pisawa alleged that she was called at the residence by the officer, where he tried to molest here.

An FIR has been registered in the matter and the officer was arrested.

A report will be filed before the state government in this regard, Basic Siksha Officer (BSA) Sanjay Shukla said.
