Bodies of married woman, neighbour found

The bodies of a married woman and her neighbour, who had gone missing on December 31, were found inside a house in a remote farm at Ritauli village in the district, police today said.

42-year-old Rambhateri and her neighbour Sushil aka Pappu (39) had gone missing on December 31 under mysterious circumstances, said investigating officer Sonu.

The bodies were discovered at the house yesterday night by its owner Dhoop Singh who informed the police, he said.

Police suspects that the two had an affair and committed suicide by consuming poison.

The bodies have been handed over to their families after post-mortem and further investigation is on, the officer said.
