Body found near beach

Body of an unidentified man

was found near Joddugullapalem beach near Arilova police station limits in the city today.

Police suspect that the man might have been murdered around two days back. However, the incident came to notice only after some locals found the body today.

The face was in a badly mutilated condition, they said.

The body was sent to King George Hospital in the city for post mortem and a case was registered under section 174 of CrPC.

Further investigation is on.
