Body of newly married woman found

Body of a 20-year-old newly married woman was recovered from her marital house at Rangipur in Odisha's Ganjam district, police said today.

The body was found hanging yesterday and her father, a resident of the same village has alleged that she was killed by her in-laws for dowry, the police said.

The woman's husband, however, claimed, that she had committed suicide when no one was at home.

The man has been detained, the police added.
