Body of TMC local youth leader found

The body of a Trinamool Congress youth wing leader was found at Basirhat in North 24 Parganas district today.

The body of Abdul Gaffar, missing since Thursday afternoon, was found lying on the side of Bidyadhari river and bore several stab marks, a top district police officer said.

Gaffar was the local TMC Yuva (youth) unit General Secretary.

His bike had been recovered in damaged condition yesterday.

West Bengal minister Jyotipriyo Mallik blamed BJP for the attack.
