Body of young woman recovered

An unidentified young woman was today found dead on Bikaner-Sri Gangangar highway in the district, police said.

It is suspected that the girl, aged in the mid-20s, was mentally challenged and she was raped before being murdered.

Her unclothed body bore several injuries, the police said, adding that the post-mortem was conducted and the report is awaited.
