Body of youth who washed away in flash floods retrieved

The body of a 35-year old youth, who was washed away in the flash floods on the outskirts, was retrieved from a bush today, polcie said.

Gopinath was returning home after his duty in a gas agency. He was washed away in the rain waters while crossing a road bridge yesterday.

His two wheeler was found some 200 feet away from the spot.

During the search in the morning, the body was found stuck in a bushy area, which was retrieved and handed over to the relatives, police said.
