Books on avian diversity released

Press Trust of India

The English translation of two Malayalam books, penned by journalist-turned-writer C Rahim, was released here today.

State Education Minister C Raveendranath released the books-'Feathered Friends' and 'Beautiful Birds'-by handing them over to Director of Public Instructions, K V Mohankumar at a function held at the Press Club here. Both books dwell on the avian diversity of the state and writer's observations as an avian buff. The books were brought out by Chintha Publications.
