Boxing Day was celebrated in Christian-dominated Meghalaya today with people unwrapping gift boxes received as part of Christmas festivities.
The day is celebrated a day after Christmas and is the feast day of Saint Stephen.
It is an important day in the 12-day Christmas celebration.
