A 17-year-old girl was killed in a road accident while three others sustained minor injuries when their vehicle collided with a roadways bus, police said today.
The deceased, Neha, was on a motorcycle along with three others - Priyanka (13), Gopi (17) and Aman (15) - when it rammed into a bus resulting in injuries to three more persons, they said.
The ill-fated travellers were returning after visiting Ganga barage yesterday.
Neha was rushed to a local hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, police official said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, they said, adding a case has been registered under relevant sections and investigation into the matter is underway.
