Boy hangs self as father could not buy computer

A 13-year-old school boy allegedly committed suicide here after his parents could not buy a computer for him, police said today.

Ravi, a student of class 7, hanged himself in the kitchen of his house at Shiv Colony here, police said.

Police said Ravi's father told them that he had been demanding a computer, but they could not afford to buy it.
