Boy killed in celebratory firing in UP

A boy was killed in a celebratory firing during a wedding event at a village here today, police said.

The incident occurred at Bilaspur village under New Mandi police station when the 12-year-old boy who was watching the wedding event was killed in the accidental fire, police said.

Superintendent of police (city) Rajesh Kumar said police have launched a hunt to nab the accused man who is absconding.
