Hollywood star and a first-time Golden Globe winner Brad Pitt said he is good friends with his former wife, actor Jennifer Aniston and wouldn't mind running into her.

At the red carpet event of the Golden Globes 2020, the actor was asked how the world was waiting for a photo of the two of them.

"I'll run into Jen, she's a good friend. Yeah," Pitt told ET.

"The second most important reunion of her year? I understand," he jokingly continued, adding, "That was a play on 'Friends'. They were saying that."

Pitt and Aniston last attended the 2002 edition of the awards as a couple. They married in 2000 and divorced in 2005.

Before he walked the carpet, Aniston had already posed for the shutterbugs.

At the Globes, Pitt won the trophy for Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his performance in "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".

The camera moved to the "Friends" alum for a reaction during Pitt's acceptance speech in which he made a dating joke.

"I want to say hi to my folks, because hey! They're back in the Ozarks. I wanted to bring my mom, but I couldn't, because anyone I stand next to, they say I'm dating," he said.

"It would just be awkward," Pitt added, to Aniston's chuckle.
