Britain all set to extradite abduction accused to India

Britain is all set to extradite a an abduction accused while another accused of 2002 post-Godhra riot was handed over to India recently.

This was said to have been conveyed during the bilateral meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi had with his British counterpart Theresa May.

Rajesh Kapoor, an accused of child abduction, is expected to be extradite to India in the next few days, sources privy to the discussions said.

Samirbhai Vinubhai Patel, who was arrested by Scotland Yard in west London on a Red Corner Notice issued by Indian authorities, was extradited to India on October 18.

Patel was wanted in connection with the 2002 post-Godhra riots in Gujarat, sources said.
