Britney Spears would 'love' to be a movie star

Singing sensation Britney Spears has confessed that she would love to act in films.

The 33-year-old "Toxic" hitmaker, who previously appeared in TV film 'Longshot', is keen to do more work on the big screen, reported E!online.

"I would love to (do more movies). I could dream. I would love to be a movie star," Spears said.

Spears is all set to appear on "Jane the Virgin" said she is a big fan of the show.

"I think the writing is so simple and so endearing and it's funny! I started watching the show before it got really big and I was telling everyone about it. They were all like, 'What are you talking about?' and then it got really big," she said.
