BJP today charged BSP and SP with levelling allegations at each other only at election time and hiding each others follies when in power.
"SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has been alleging that Mayawati might form the next government with the help of BJP, while the BSP supremo has been going about saying she will neither take or give support to any party...In reality both these parties have an understanding with each other," BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma said.
The BSP chief had said in 2007 that she will send Mulayam Singh Yadav to jail and similarly Akhilesh Yadav had also said that he will take stern action against Mayawati's ministers facing corruption charges but both did nothing when they came to power, Sharma said.

"As far as BJP's taking support of any party is concerned, it is going to form its government with full majority and will not require any prop," he said, adding Mayawati is frustrated as she is aware of the impending defeat in the polls and so is making all sort of allegations.
Mayawati is trying to give the elections a communal colour keeping in mind Muslim vote bank, he said, adding no one can forget her autocratic rule, major scams and atrocities on Dalits.
As many as 12 of her ministers were jailed reflecting height of corruption, added Sharma, who is the BJP's candidate for Mathura Assembly seat.
Mathura went to polls on February 11, in the first of the seven phase Uttar Pradesh elections, which will end on March 8.
