The case was registered against Rajesh Gupta at the Mujesar police station here for ignoring safety measures at the construction site, SHO Gajendra Singh said, adding, Gupta is yet to be arrested.
Two persons were killed and four others injured when a portion of the building collapsed yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Ghanshyam (52), contractor of the project, and labourer named Sipahi (25).
