Businessman held for stockpiling explosives

A businessman was today arrested for allegedly stockpiling huge quantity of explosive materials at Santoshpur village in Odisha's Ganjam district.

Around 2,350 electric detonators, 4,026 meters of wires and some other materials were seized from the cement godown of Saroj Patnaik during a raid, police said.

The accused used to illegally supply the explosive materials for use in quarries, police said.
