A businessman was today killed and his employee injured when a motorcycle they were riding on was crushed by a four-wheeler in Kotwali area, a senior officer said here.
Additional Superintendent of Police Neeraj Pandey said that Amit Kasaudhan (30), who was wholeseller of 'ghutka', and his employee Abul (50) were seriously injured when the motorcycle they were riding on collided with another vehicle near GRP police station.
The injured were taken to a hospital where doctors declared Amit dead, he said.

The incident occurred when Amit was going to catch Intercity Express for Kanpur this morning, the ASP said.
He said that Amit's family members have alleged that he was crushed to death and lakh of rupees were looted from him.
Pandey said that an FIR would be lodged once a complaint was received.
