Businessman Sajjan seeks exemption from appearance in court

Businessman Sajjan Agarwal, who has been charge sheeted in the Saradha chit fund scam by the CBI but not yet arrested, today prayed for exemption from personal appearance in court when the trial starts.

A CBI source told PTI that Agarwal, father of Sandhir Agarwal who has been charge sheeted and also arrested by the CBI in the same case, today moved the Alipore court and requested exemption from personal appearance during trial.
