Car hits AMU VC's bicycle, injures him

Aligarh Muslim University Vice-Chancellor Zameer Uddin Shah was injured today when a speeding car hit his bicycle on the campus.

"I think it was a deliberate attempt to harm me," the VC said in a statement.

"Shah received injuries in his knees and ribs and is out of danger," AMU spokesman Rahat Abrar said.

A case was registered in this connection and the car owner arrested, police said.
