Case against Cong MLA's supporter for threatening Scindia

A case has been registered here against a Congress worker for allegedly threatening senior party leader Jyotiraditya Scindia over non-inclusion of MLA KP Singh Kakkaju in the Madhya Pradesh cabinet.
Police said the accused, Arnav Pratap Singh Chouhan, (22), resident of Kararkheda, is reportedly a supporter of Kakkaju.
Police official Badam Singh Yadav said a case under IPC section 506 (criminal intimidation) was registered against Chouhan on a complaint filed by one of Scindia's supporters. No arrest has been made.
Kakkaju, legislator from Pichhore, was being considered a strong contender for a cabinet post in the Kamal Nath-led government.
Kakkaju's supporters had staged a protest in Bhopal on December 25 as he failed to find berth in the Congress government which came to power after the last month's elections.
In a Facebook post on December 25, Chouhan wrote, "Scindia should not enter Pichhore....Kakkaju Jindabad."
It was accompanied by a picture with a pistol.
He, however, deleted the post later and apologised for it.
