Case against Kumar Vishwas for hurting religious sentiments

An FIR was registered against AAP leader Kumar Vishwas here tonight for allegedly hurting religious sentiments.

On the complaint of national president of All India Janseva Committee, Nadeem Qureshi, a case was lodged against Vishwas, Circle officer Arun Kumar said.

In his complaint to the police this evening, Qureshi alleged that Vishwas, a poet-turned politician, during various poetry recitation functions had used words derogatory of a religion and made attempts to incite communal passion, the Circle officer said.
