Case against son of SP MLA for casteist remarks against woman

A case has been registered against the son of a Samajwadi Party MLA for allegedly making casteist remarks against a woman block head, police said today.

An FIR was registered yesterday against Vijay Pratap alias Chhotu, son of Sirsaganj MLA, Hariom Yadav for making casteist remarks against block head Naraini Devi and threatening her of dire consquences, they said.

She lodged a complaint at Nagla Khankar police station and investigations are underway, police said.
