Cash looted

looted cash from a shop in Assam's Kamrup (Rural) district today, police said.

The miscreants, armed with pistols, barged into a stationary shop at Rangiya-Bhutan bus stand here and looted nearly Rs two lakh from the shop.

The police have launched a massive search operation to nab the miscreants whose identity was yet to ascertained, the police added.
