The special crime branch of CBI, probing the multi-crore Saradha ponzy scam, today interrogated Naresh Bhalotia, the legal counsel of main accused Sudipto Sen, to examine his role in the illegal business run by the group
CBI sources told PTI that Bhalotia was interrogated today because he is a witness to this case which the investigative agency is probing at the instance of Supreme Court.
Bhalotia is a conspirator and he helped Sen knowing fully well that Sen was running an illegal business and despite that was providing him legal counselling, CBI sources added.
