Centre plans pool of trainers on ethics, capacity building

The Centre has decided to form a national pool of trainers for imparting skills to employees on ethics and capacity building.

Serving and retired government officials, academicians and experts with understanding in the functioning of the government, excellent communication skills, open-mindedness and flexibility have been encouraged to apply.

The selected officers would receive the professional fee (Rs 1,000 for every 1.5 hours) as per the prevailing policies of the government for actual delivery of training post certification, an order issued by Department of Personnel and Training said.

Applications are invited from serving and retired senior officers of central and state governments, faculty member, central and state training institutions and subject specialists based in Delhi to join the national pool of trainers on the thematic areas of leadership skills and ethics, it said.
 

The selected persons will undergo capacity building workshops which will equip them to deliver leadership skills and ethics training at different institutes in and around Delhi National Capital Region (NCR), the DoPT order said.

There are about 48 lakh central government employees working in various central government departments.
